Camping at Ensign Ranch with Hebdon's

We went camping to Ensign Ranch with Jeni and Kevin. Our kids look forward to this. It's a good time even though it's a ton of work to pack for camping!

Our camping site was very organized in big part due to Jeni. She's an organizing queen.

We found the ropes course and the kids had fun trying things out. These tires are hard to balance on.

Our neighbors had christmas lights! We laughed when we saw that.

We took bikes and would ride them all over instead of cars. Well, Chelsea was in the back in the trailer and got splattered with mud when we went through muddy parts. haha!

Lindsey and Chelsea look forward to riding the horses. Chelsea is in love with Jesse and Cyrus. She talks about them all the time. Preston wants nothing to do with riding the horses.

Kate has been dying to ride the horse on her own on a trail ride. You  have to be a certain height and weight and she made the height limit this year! She was so happy. Last year she was under about 1/2 inch and cried when they said no.

My parents, Jared and Sara and her boys came up for one of days. We rode bikes, hung out, ate food and did skits at an empty amphitheater.

Woah! My Dad and Chelsea trying crazy stunts.

Zane and Chelsea stole the chip bags and were in heaven.

Doing skits and we had an audience of other people who happened to be there when we came to use it. We wanted to do the rope swing, but they had the rope taken down and others were locked up. We were sad about that.

Very dirty!

The kids are snug as a bug in a rug inside our tent. They sleep good when we camp which is very nice.

Swimming in the river

Cool pic of everyone walking to the rope swing. We did the slip n' slide and this before leaving. Jeni and Kevin fed us lunch before we left, they BBQ'd hot dogs up near the lodge. We were already packed up by this time. We take turns with meals so it works out well.

Play Time and Kelly Time

Having fun at a playground on a beautiful summer day. This summer has been very nice. It's been a drought year, which isn't good for others, but we've been enjoying the hot weather.

Marci and Jared came over to go to the Kelly Clarkson concert. We got tickets on groupon a while ago. Marci, Kate and I went shopping to DSW before. Marci is moving to Utah next week so this was our last hurrah while she lives over here. Sniff sniff. I'm excited for her to move because she'll have more of a social life, but I liked having her around to meet up to go shopping and do things like this. She will live south of Salt Lake and got a teaching job at a High School in South Jordan so she accepted and is selling her townhome. It was amazing how fast she got offered this job so it was meant to be.

Pentatonix was one of the openers and I had never heard of them before. They are an a capella group and were amazing! I loved them! We noticed several people were there just for them because they had their shirts on and the crowd was going crazy for them.

Kelly Clarkson was awesome. She did a great job and we sang to most of her songs. I remember when she won American Idol way back when. It's cool to see how far she's come. Her voice is amazing.

Preston failed his hearing test at school in the Spring so I finally made appointments to get it addressed. I just wanted to forget about it, but figured I should look into it more. We went to an audiologist who showed us how messed up his ear drums were with his little camera and he referred us to an ENT. Then the ENT requested a CAT scan to rule out a cholesteatoma.

Chelsea stealing Lindsey's coloring page and loving the markers. Yikes. I try to hide them from her, but it's hard when the older kids want to use them.

Lindsey's good friend Reagan Giles is moving to Orting. Her parents, Ethan and Kayla Giles are good friends of ours. They used to live around the corner from our old house so our kids saw lots of each other. Now they bought a house down in Orting which is south of Puyallup so I'm sad and so was Lindsey. We had Reagan and Anna over for a play date before they moved.

We had a crazy wind storm and lots of trees around the area fell over ripping up the grass with it! It was crazy to see. This picture is small, but you can see the whole entire root system was torn up. These trees lined the sidewalk to Cougar park which is across the street from us.

Happy 5th Birthday Lindsey!

Happy 5th Birthday Lindsey!
She loves My Little Pony so that was her theme this year. Sadie had just done a big MLP party for Reagan at my parent's house before the reunion so she shared her leftover decorations and things with me. I was very grateful! Lindsey invited a few friends over and we did some games, played, opened presents and had cupcakes and ice cream. We are glad Lindsey is in our family. She likes to play with her siblings, watch Sofia the First shows, play dress-up and play outside.

Kate insisted on helping and made this Pinkie Pie poster for them to play this game. So nice of Kate.

L-R: Ava Vanegas, Madison Grossarth, Ashlynn Owens, Reagan Giles, Chelsea, Lindsey and Kate Nedry.

I got this idea online and it was cute. The marshmallows are like clouds. Adorable.

Sabin Reunion

Sabin Reunion time! We had back to back reunions, one on Kyle's side and one on my side. Marci and Carter's birthday is on July 30th the first day of our reunion so we had a double celebration that night with two cakes. Yum yum.

The next morning we went to the Columbia River down near Vantage where we used to go growing up and for mutual activities. We haven't been there in a long time and the sand there was awesome! We have been missing out and should have been coming here a lot! Now the kids want to go back next summer.

That night we had a Sabin Night Show like Jimmy Fallon Night show. Kevin was Jimmy Fallon. It was hilarious because Kevin had done thank you notes and then someone did superlatives and something else I can't remember. They were all ideas taken from the show, but based on our family. It was really clever and cute. We all wore our Reunion shirts with the theme which was, "Smile, be happy and remember who you are"

My Mom had the older cousins do skits and Preston thought they were hilarious. He even went up and shared a joke or two. It was pretty cute how my Mom involved everyone.

Baylor and Chelsea cruising around with the pretty sunset in the background.

Kevin brought his rockets so we went up to the school fields and he launched them there. While we were doing this the the sprinklers turned on so we had to run back to the cars. Several of the rockets were lost too. They go really high and so they are easy to lose. The guys tried riding around on motorcycles trying to find them, but didn't have any luck.

The giant slip n' slide was put up and the Dawn dishwashing soap was lathered on for better sliding.

The cute craft my Mom had planned for us to do. It has a picture with the theme on it. Sara made the pictures and got them printed. Crafty family.

Kyle and I were in charge of Sabin Game Night. I put together a variety of games to play including minute to win it games (like this one above where they had to get in teams and pass lifesavers between one another on toothpicks held in their mouths!). We did some trivia based on family memories and other things. I'm a fan of games so it was fun to plan.
