Matchy Matchy

When we moved in 7 yrs ago (we've been here a long time!) there was part of an existing fence in our backyard and it looked like this.

Well we put up a fence soon after moving in and so part of it was gray and the rest was pretty and new. We even put a weather/waterproof stain on the fence we put up so it wouldn't turn gray. But I always wanted to pressure wash the gray section and make it all match. We finally did that. We borrowed our friend's pressure washer and it was like an eraser! It took off the old and made it look new again. I was just going to do the gray fence, but did our entire fence. Then I painted it all with the weather/waterproof stain to match.
I think it turned out pretty! It looks much better. The fence to the left in the picture was the gray part. Now we need to work on that lawn...we hate dealing with moss!

That looks really good. You can't even tell they weren't put up at the same time. Those pressure washers really work wonders. That is so interesting about your grass. The moss kills it out or just takes over? That is so crazy.

We so need to do this to our fence. How did you have time to paint it? I watched Sisco and he said that you have to rake up the moss before you put on the moss killer or it doesn't work...guess that explains our problem.
Your fence looks really nice.
