The Latest

My Mom, Jeni and Sara came over for a short girl's weekend last Saturday and Sunday. We called it a Bachelorette party for Sara. But what bacherlorette wants to spend their day at IKEA? Not her! We made it more fun by going to Cheesecake Factory and the Mall where she found a million rings to buy. :) Sara even finalized the idea for her wedding invitations and my Mom found a lot of things she could use for the reception. Then, we all went to Marci's and stayed up late talking. We were able to go to Marci's church and meet her friends and then we all had to get back home. It was short, but always fun to be together.

We had a great waitor. He was funny, did some in depth research for us (ha!) and even took our picture!
These next pictures are things we've been up to. I'm so far behind in blogging so I'm cramming into one post. I have been working 3 days a week, but lately I've been working 4 days. This week, I was expecting to be off on Monday, but was called into work for a sick co-worker and was going to be working a 4 day work week again. This is usually fine, but not when we are heading to my parent's house this weekend and I have to be prepared for Kate's Dora party with her cousin's. I didn't have anything prepared. So when the dental office (for where I was working on Thursday) called to tell me they didn't need me I was actually happy. Now I can get some things done before we leave (like blogging!). I also had a Primary Activity Day last Saturday (before meeting up with my Mom and sisters). We did a "We Beelieve" activity with the Articles of Faith. It went well and we had different stations with different activities focusing on an article of faith. We also had the kids make Article of Faith cards that you put on a book ring. We laminated them there at the church so they would last longer. Then we had bee cupcakes.
Preston climbing on a toy at the play area in the mall.

Kate made this out of popsicle sticks. I just love how she puts so many lines on her "E". And yes, the picture turned on it's own.

Kate is in swim lessons again. I was nervous to put her in because of the experience from last year (her crying because she doesn't want to get into the pool and me mad that she won't get in the pool). However, so far so good. She is doing great, loves her teacher and even has her best friend, Alyssa, in the class with her. She actually stays with her teacher and listens to her. Phew. She bugs us all day with "is it time for swim lessons?" until it's time for us to leave.

Our good friends invited us to go to a Mariner's game with them. It was so much fun with them. The weather was perfect and the game was really good. Sorry Boston Red Sox fans, Mariner's totally won that night thanks to Ichiro's 2 homeruns!!!

This stadium is so BEAUTIFUL! It has a fabulous view of downtown Seattle. It really is pretty.

Oh I miss going to Mariner games, those were always so FUN! Looks like you have been a little bit busy! Good job Kate in the pool, I think Avery has that same swim suit! So cute!

I am dying to go to Seattle. I had to miss out on a week long training in Seattle next week, and I'm really bummed. The picture of all the Sabin women made me smile. (slightly embarrassing since I'm sitting here in my office with a big cheesey grin!)
You look great!

The city does lend a romantic touch to your photos. I was hoping for some photos of your bee cupcakes.

What a fun post! I miss Safeco field too. I've been watching the past three nights. They've been playing the Angels, Trevor's team, so they've been on our local station. I hope the party goes off well. We are getting ready to throw two parties for Preston, one this Friday and a friend party the week after. I must be crazy.

I want a bachelorette party at IKEA, ha! Cheesecake Factory had to make all better.

I'm SO glad you had today off. Nice! You deserved and earned it.

Can't wait to see you tomorrow. And the kids are dying for the party on Monday. They don't care what you plan, they just love being with their cousins.

Love Preston playing and Kate's sticks. Dang cute.

Elliot does that with her E's too! Too funny! And we have the same situation with swim lessons. She loves it but doesn't want to put her head in the water, which is the whole point of level one swimming.

Glad to know your still plugging along. Keep up the swimming Kate--summer is just around the bend. The popscicle sticks are precious.
