Because of a very persistent brother (ahem...Jeff) I finally hooked up my web camera and downloaded Skype onto my computer. It's been SO fun to chat via live video with Jeff and Sadie, Sara and Grandma Dee Ann. I'm glad I have a persistent brother! Preston saw Sara and Sadie on the computer and held his hands out for them to pick him up- so cute. Kate just loves seeing herself on the computer and waves ALL THE TIME to whoever we are talking to. The best part of the skyping process is that it's FREE. It's great to actually see each other and chit chat. It really is cool so if you can you should hook yourself up with skype. You'll love it.
On other news... I am working about 3 days a week at random offices and it's very interesting to see how other offices work. It's opened my eyes and made me very grateful for the office I've worked in for the last 5 1/2 years. One office I worked at I went in at 10:15 and didn't get off until 8pm!!! Crazy late.
Kyle keeps applying to jobs as he finds them so it's still the waiting game, which is very annoying. He's adapting to being Mr. Mom and I like coming home to dinner (sometimes) and folded laundry. :) He's still anxious to find something soon.

It's like we're the Jetsons with our video phones. Now we just need the robot maids.
We get to visit with 2 of our kids via our Mac cam... we're going to skype with the other 3 soon. We did this many years ago when our first one moved away. It was a fun way to keep the family seeing the new babies that came and they got to participate in celebrations. I'll bet Kate is having a ball with Dad.
Austin loves the webcam too, but doesn't understand that we can't use it all the time. Plus it's a little annoying to try to carry on a conversation when he is so LOUD when that thing is on.
Tell Kyle we missed him at playgroup today! We're still waiting for him to get up the courage to come join us.
I love talking to the kids. Didn't like the sound of Kate's cough today. Maybe this is not a good thing. Ha Preston loves peek-a-boo!!

What a blessing you have some work, and a husband that takes care of the house while you are gone! What a great guy!
Maybe Kyle should apply to "extreme home makeover" he could send in a tape of his "boulder lane project"!

I really need to get the camera from mom so we can Skype too! She had it when I was there in July but I wondered if we would ever use it. Now I want it and she can't find it. I might have to have you go searching around for it.

i LOVE skype!! that's how are family all keeps connected...my siblings are all over...netherlands, hawaii etc...so it's been great! And of course the grandparents LOVE it. OH and crazy snow!!! Well your kiddos are adorable!!! good luck with the job hunting!
